Dës zwee Bëscher solle fir dei 4km laang Strooss ofgeholzt ginn. Net nëmmen dass et am Süde schonn net méi immens vill Bëscher ginn, sou droen déi zwee Bëscher tëscht Suessem a Käerjeng zu enger besserer Loftqualitéit bäi, filtere CO2 aus der Loft a gi vun de Leit aus de Gemengen als Erhuelungsplaz genotzt. Dës Weideren ass de Zämerbësch eng Natura2000 Zon, also e Naturschutzgebitt, an deem geschützten Déiere liewen (wei z.B vill Zorte Villercher, Molchen a Fliedermais).
Amplaz sech drëm ze këmmeren, dass den Autosverkéier erofgeet, investéiert eis Regierung léiwer nach Milliounen an eng néi Strooss, déi nëmmen zu méi Verkéier an der Zerstéierung vun zwee wäertvolle Bëscher féiere wäert! Et gi vill aner Mesuren (wei d’Investitioun an den ëffentlechen Transport, P&R, Elektromobilitéit, Carsharing an intelligent Luuchte Systemer), déi d’Regierung treffe kéint, fir dem Klimawandel entgéint ze steieren.

THE FOREST IS OCCUPIED: BOBI STAYS!
Since there have been disagreements about the bypass between Bascharage and Sanem for many years and several initiatives already spoke up against it, it’s our turn to be active. We are an intergenerational collective called bobibleift. We are committed to preserving the Zämerbësch and bathe Bobësch forests and against the planned construction of the bypass.
These two forests are to be cut down for the 4km long road. Not only are there few forests in the south anymore, but the two forests between Sanem and Bascharage contribute to better air quality and filter CO2 from the air. Furthermore, they are used by the people from the communes as a place of recreation. Moreover, the Zämerbësch is a Natura2000 zone, meaning a nature reserve in which protected animals live (such as many species of birds, newts and bats).
Our government would rather invest millions more in a new road than take efficient action against the climate crisis. This bypass will generate even more traffic, and two forests will have been destroyed for its construction. The government could take many other measures (such as investment in public transport, P&R, electric mobility, car-sharing and intelligent lighting systems) to combat climate change.
The bobibleift collective stands with a non-violent and peaceful forest occupation for the maintenance of the two forests and demands:
- A stop to this and further road projects
- The protection of all existing forests in Luxembourg
- Efficient, consistent and rapid action in the fight against the climate crisis!
Our action is a temporary warning occupation: we will not stay forever, but if anyone tries to harm the forest, we’ll be back!

Rules at the occupation camp:
- Photos of activists are not allowed. However, structures in the forest can be photographed. We do not want sound or film recordings to be made to protect our identities.
- A few meters into the forest, one of our paths starts. It is crucial to stay on these paths to do as little damage to the forest as possible.
- We are not responsible for people’s safety. Our structures are secured to the best of our ability and actively used and maintained by us. The use of climbing ropes is also at your own risk.
